Current Activities

Four storm fine screens have been installed with their associated penstocks and these are currently being commissioned. Work is nearly complete on the removal of the concrete walls in the existing storm flow channel. The removal of these walls connects the new screen lanes to the existing inlet works and will allow the storm fine screens to be wet commissioned in the next 2-3 weeks. In the last month the existing FFT screens have been dismantled and removed, as has one old storm screen.The current activities are taking place in the old storm channel where another fine storm screen is to be installed. New concrete walls are under construction to narrow the channel to a suitable width for the new screen to be installed.
